Sibyl Emily Loveday, the first child, daughter of Sibyl O’Neill & Charles Frederic Jerram.
Talland church bell tower contained four bells from 1804 till 1913 when they were all taken down and three of them re-cast. The tower was re-roofed and repaired and two new bells were added; the new tenor bell, dedicated to ‘Loveday’, weighs 73/4cwt and a new treble bell, given by Lt.Col Charles Frederic Jerram whose family rented the old vicarage next to the church. The light peal of six bells were hung in new steel frames with a total cost for all works adding up to £365.
