of a Beloved Husband and affectionate Father.
Prudent in all his Conduct Here in Life
Human and gentle, affable and kind.
A Plain but open moral honest mind.

Why do you morn departing Wife so Dear,
Or Shake at Death’s Alarms,
‘Tis but the Voice that Jesus ƒends
To call us to his Arms.
I’m Gone to dust from whence y Came,
I hope my Spirit is returned to God,
Forever there to make a bode
With my Dear Saviour for to be,
Happy to all Eternity
