This Stone is Erected by their Son Thomas Barrett as a Token of Respect

Dedication

Jane Barrett (née Perry 1781-1850) was 60 years old on the 1841 census, wife of William Barrett, a Sail Maker, both were born in Lansallos. They married on 13 May 1804 at the local church. The census also includes, Philly Barrett their 9 years old daughter and their son Thomas Barrett (1820-1893), who gifted this stone. Thomas was a mariner and his tomb chest is in the higher graveyard; he married Jane Edith Johns (1822-1893) on 25 April 1843 at Talland church.
