Thomas Congdon, of Polperro, was buried 16 July 1826; his burial records give the name of his parents as Thomas & Ann Congdon, with his father’s profession as blacksmith. With these details we can confirm the first burial details as John Congdon (1807-1811).
Thomas & Ann Rendle were married on 31st May 1806, at Talland church. Their clearly written Headstone 185 can be found in the higher graveyard. Close by is a Headstone 180 to sons John & Thomas, remembered here, and a third son, Rendle Congdon (1825-1837).
