The burial and baptism records of John Rundle (1775-1790) confirms the full name of his brother Thomas Prynn Rundle (1783-1788), who’s name is incomplete at the top of this stone. The use of the christian name Prynn helps confirm the surname of his mother Jane Prynn (1750-1821), who married Edward Rundle (1748-1815), a farmer from Talland, who’s headstone is standing in the graveyard, near the south door entrance to Talland church. Headstone 159. and Jane Rundle’s stone is in the east graveyard, Headstone 139. A marriage certificate dated 14 November 1772 shows Edward Rendle of Talland marries Jane Prynn of Newlyn in Pydar at Newlyn East.
