- Will of Nicholas Harris Nicholas written 21 August 1803, as Lieutenant of His Majesty’s Royal Regiment of Artillery, with property & orchard in the Barbican/Shutta, in East Looe, on his stone in 1806 he has the title of Captain.
- Baptised twice “at the same time as [twin] sisters Frances and Loveday Nicholas” on 2 and 28 November 1781
- the same document shows Birth 16 October 1781
- In the burial records his surname is documented as Harris.
