Plaque citation
Rev. Osborne John Tancock was the curate to Rev. Nicholas Kendall, at Talland Church and also vicar of Tavistock, Devon, 1857-72. He was born in Guernsey, Channel Islands and educated at Wadham College, Oxford. He died 20 February 1874.
