- It seems the Parish Burial records may have a transcription mistake, recording Elizabeth’s burial date as two days before her death, but then it’s quite possible that the stone’s date could be incorrect as they were often erected at a later date.
A good clear photograph taken around 2007 – sadly the stone is no longer visible; the location is recognisable and the stone to its side suggests it would have been in the Higher Graveyard next to Headstone 247
