Thomas Charke
Late of Trenewan in this Parish
Who departed this life
on the 9th December A.D. 1845
Aged 70 Years

Farewell my wife and children dear,
For I am gone to rest,
Though I was loved by you on earth,
Yet Jesus loved me best.

Also
Mary Ann wife of the above
Who departed this life
on the 6th January A.D. 1851
Aged 49 Years

She died in Jesus and is blest
How sweet her slumbers are
From suffering and from sin released
And freed from every snare.
