who Died May 5th 1807
Aged 40 Years

Farewell my Wife and Children dear
I leave You all behind:
Unto the GOD of Iƒr’els care
Who’s merciful and kind.

The day comes haƒtining on with speed
When CHRIST will come again:
To Raiƒe the Bodies of the Saints,
That they may with Him Reign.

My Fleƒh and duƒt ƒhall Reƒt in hope,
Till that Great look’d for day,
When all the ƒorrows of the Saints
Shall vaniƒh hence away.
