Beneath
are deposited
the mortal remains of
William Barrett
of Polperro
in the Parish of Talland
who departed this life
on the 3 day of February
AD. 1836
in the 64 Year of his age.

Also of
Matthew his Brother
of this Said Parish
who died on the 12 day
of Septr 1796 Aged 22 Years

Afflictions some long time he bore
Physicians were in vain,
Till God was pleased death should him seize
And cure him of his pain.
