to the Memory of
Mary, the Daughter of Richard
and Ann Barrett, of Polperro, in
the Parish of Talland, who
departed this Life May 25 1818
Aged 22 Years

Life how uncertain to promise how vain,
T’was God’s Holy will, I here should be lain,
And not being weded, I rest in the Dust
And Christ is my Bridegroom, my hope
and my trust.

Also Here Lies the Body of
William the Son of Richard
and Ann Barrett, of Polperro
who departed this Life the 28
of October 1825 Aged 22 Years

Also of Elizabeth Barrett
wife of the above William Barrett
who departed this life Sept 28th 1852
Aged 80 Years
