Late of North Tremain in this parish
Who departed this life the 25 day of May 1789

Dear wife and children now adieu
And cease to grieve for me
But know your time is hasting soon
Prepare to follow me
Affliction sore long time I bore
Physicians were in vain
Till god was pleased death should seize me
And ease me of my pain
Also Elizabeth his wife
Who died February 12th 1800
Aged 67 Years
