Jane the wife of John Mark
Of the parish of Talland
Who departed this life the 
26th day of October 1796
Aged 25 Years

Grieve not for me husband dear
Let this thy comfort be
That from pain and grief I am gone
To joys eternally.
Affliction sore long time I bore
Physicians were in vain
Till God did please death should me seize
And ease me of my pain
With fervent zeal I daily prayed
Unto the Lord on high
Who of his goodness sent me aid
And heard my mournful cry
