Will of Richard Rendle, Yeoman of Talland, dated 19 May 1853. PROB 11/2172/271 National Archives. Will has been transcribed which shows the division of property, clothes, money and a copy of Doctor Tofts Bible, between the family.

Ancestry records – show in the 1841 census Richard Rendle as a shoemaker, born and living in Polperro with his wife Mary and daughter Priscilla.
