- From the Census of the 1880’s we find that John Vincent was born in East Looe, but lived most of his married life in Horse Lane, West Looe. Working as a Copper Ore Labourer in 1851, ending his working career as a Boat Man. He and his wife Elizabeth had at least eight children.
A good clear photograph taken around 2007 – sadly the stone is no long visible; the location is recognisable and the stone to its side suggests it would have been in the Higher Graveyard next to Headstone 247
