From the Census of the 1880’s we find that John Vincent was born in East Looe, but lived most of his married life in Horse Lane, West Looe. Working as a Copper Ore Labourer in 1851, ending his working career as a Boat Man. He and his wife Elizabeth had at least eight children.
A good clear photograph that was taken around 2007 – but sadly the stone is now no long visible.
Found it – April 2026 – situated on the highest point of the higher graveyard overlooking Talland Bay.
